Enjoy it! I love this performance! Amazing sound of the fans..and ..much more :)

*sigh* I love that song and that performance is particularly good as are all I think from the Toronto 2006 concert. Thanks for making me want to watch it again!

I've seen that performance several times, but I never mind watching it again.

Two things:

1. I wish Fix You was still their closing song.

2. I wish Chris would still swing and throw that lantern.

^^ me too! i love that lantern.. it makes the song :nice:

OMG OMG i just died of happiness...each time the audience starts to sing i get all tingly inside i have watched the video i recorded of fix you so many times and love the singing at the end...i had never seen this before it made my day...:cries:

when it says dvd quality does that mean there is another dvd besides the 2003 one...someone please answer i must know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah. I think it's hilarious the way Chris like jumps around now during Fix You.

But on the Viva tour, I think it's lost a lot of the emotion it had before.

answer me!!!lol!!!

answer me!!!lol!!!

I'm pretty sure thats the "How We Saw The World" concerts.

Apparently they were supposed to be released? or were gonna maybe be released?

I dunno. The concert aired on TV though (VH1 maybe)?

You can find it to download though at Coldplaybootlegs.

I didn't come to that same conclusion. I saw them 5X on the Twisted Logic Tour, and 2X during Viva. I liked it better in the "old" days, however, it is still a "show stopper." It's just a great tune, and it is great live.

It still sounds good.

And honestly, I can't expect someone to sing a song with the same emotion the 200th time through.

I just think when I saw that osng performed live it was also Chris on the piano with everyone singing along, just real simple.

And now.. it's not bad.. just not as slow and filled with the same emotion.

That's just my opinion though. I actually like the part where it picks up an he's jumping around, feels dramatic? lol I dunno, but again loses some of the emotion.

OOPS! I read your original post wrong. Yes, I agree it has lost some of its emotion. I accidently thought you were saying it had MORE emotion during the Viva tour, which I disagree with. I will read better next time. I'm sorry. ;)

Good. I'll be able to go on with life now. :)

could i get a link i can't seem to find it on coldplay bootlegs...

Sorry to double post, but I was also thinking that listing the concerts I have been to sounded like I was bragging.

What I was trying to illustrate is that Fix You is a song that has a palpable feeling to it when you see it live. As good as this video is, it still is not the same as seeing it live. In fact, watching the video only reminds me of what it was like to see it in-person. And seeing it multiple times in-person, I feel like I have a strong point of reference. That is what I was trying to convey.

Note to self: work on reading AND writing.

I've watched this before, the Toronto gig is truly amazing

Gotcheese > I found a post with downloads from the Toronto gig here on Coldplaying yesterday - it is here somewhere :)

But if you don't manage to find it, i can find the link in a couple of days when i go to my fathers again.

God i wish they still did this thing with the lantern, it made the song so special live.

It was going to be a DVD that was scheduled for release just prior to Christmas 2006, but it got cancelled.

We never found out whether it was the band or EMI who cancelled it, but instead it just ended up as TV special that pops up every once in a while. It's been played on Canadian TV a couple of times for sure, I can't remember where else though.
