I don't think I'll be able to watch if I have to put up with those interns being main characters.

me neither. I hate them all, and the show is only funny because of the characters that have made it that way

^ As expected.

Can't say I'm a fan of the new interns, either. Their best contribution is enhancing and helping mature the existing characters.

I'm ashamed of this show, it used to be really good, now it's terrible (and by now I mean for the past few seasons)

lets see if it "Jumps the Shark" anytime soon. this phrase might be to old for any of you to understand. but will be watching anyway. i love it

I mostly agree. There has been the occasional funny episode, but NBC really fucked it up. ABC's episodes aren't great, but I just want to see how they wrap up the story.

Best is the reruns that are on 10 times a day from Seasons 1-6.

Actually, I think Season 6 is where it started to slip up, even if they started some big plot advancements. Neither 6 nor 7 were bad seasons, although the show's creator has said in a few recent interviews that he wants a return to glory for this final season, indicating that he, too, felt they could have done better.

Well returning to glory would mean completely altering the shit character they have turned JD into and go back to the roots which they can't do it all, so he's just setting himself up for fail

Apparently it's "nuking the fridge" now.

Decided to bump this seeing as how the series has less than a month of life left.

M'kay, so just 4 episodes left now! We had a few intern-focused episodes that were kinda dull, but now we're finally back to wrapping up the main stories. The most recent episode took place in the Bahamas and will continue there this week as it's a multi-part episode.

If you've missed a lot, Cox/Jordan are looking into getting re-married, Carla/Turk are having a second baby, the Janitor gets married this coming week, and Elliot has now confessed her love to J.D. We're also supposedly gonna get some closure with Kim.

^ I wouldn't say the intern-focused episodes are dull. For example the one in which JD is in Disneyland was sooo much better then the Bahamas one.

"My Soul on Fire" was cute enough. No huge breakthroughs other than with the Janitor (and you knew they wouldn't actually reveal his name), so I hope things aren't rushed in the final few episodes.
