Hello you!

Just making a thread for two reasons

1. To promote my own blog (no point in writing it if no-one reads) and 2. so other people can post links to their blogs and we can go bloggin' mad between ourselves.

I just recently decided to get using mine again so last night when it was well past midnight (I'm a rebel staying up that late) I wrote a whole lot of nonsense which I decided to post for all the world to see.

Hope you enjoy reading it but you most likely wont.

Anyone else a blogger then? :D

EDIT: Bloody hell! That wordpress is mental. They've put the first 3 paragraphs into one big one! Can't fix it so far

^ nice AD reference in the blog name.

I do not blog. Do people actually read all of your blogs or are you just typing to yourself mostly?

I used to have a blog that almost no one read ... but now I want a new one but I'm stuck trying to choose a name

Yea I saw. I guess it might be good to have a blog just as a way to get stuff out, and you can go back and see what you were thinking. Even if no one reads it it could be useful I suppose.

i don't really think it matters if anyone reads it--for some people (like me) it's fun to blab, and it can be extremely theraputic. i wouldn't blog, personally, if i was dependent on readers, because most of what i write is self-indulgence anyway. and in previous blogs, i just went ON and ON...i'm trying to keep the posts in this one shorter and digestible in case anyone wants to read it and as a writing excercise to myself.

EDIT:  bob loblaw! oh man, i need to buy all of AD on DVD. i miss that show like crazy.

I just feel if I were to blog it would get too serious. I cannot go on about simple things, all my ideas and the things I think about are large and complicated. I don't think people would ever read my random philosophies. As far as doing it for myself, well I get that same type of "venting" if you will from songwriting.

that's good, then--blogging and writing and rambling is my songwriting :D. but personally, i think it's better to write about the big, serious, complicated things--it means more in the long run, and it's beneficial to yourself.

yea, but honestly I get all those complicated things out in songs that end up seeming very simple. If my bandmates knew only half of what my songs meant they would be in shock.

I blog for myself. But also for other people. I know people get a kick out of some of my comments. I also like using it to do concert reviews and the like....and just fun stuff like my faces of Christmas.
