Yeah, that should have got more noms!

i'm seeing that again tonight :nice:. i don't know, though, i feel like it got nominated for what it deserved. then again, the first time i saw it, i was in london and was really overstimulated by being in another country, being with a friend, being tired, and being fascinated by the stuff the british audience laughed at that an american audience wouldn't, and vice versa. i do think heath deserves best actor, dead or not.

I think Aaron Eckhart deserved a nomination too, he was fantastic

well. that movie was made to be seen in imax :dead:. and heath definitely deserves best actor, no doubt in my mind.

 

and as much as i want a.r. rahman to win best score, why wasn't the dark knight nominated?! that is the most epic shit ever. hans zimmer, man. but i should be quiet because he'd just hurt a.r. rahman's chances :P

And I still haven't seen the dark knight.

 

I have it on dvd, but haven't gotten around to watching it

I really hope Heath wins an Oscar, that would be great! He did an amazing job.

i saw "rachel getting married" last night, and i think anne hathaway totally deserves her nomination. she was fabulous, and the movie as a whole was great, despite some scenes running on too long.

Jon Stewart was great the first time - those "Camapign ads" were inspired. Last year he was ok, but that stupid writers strike held him back a lot.

 

I loved that he brought the girl who wrote the winning song from Once back onstage to give her speech after the band played her off the first time!

I think Hugh Jackman will do a great job though, he is very talented when it comes to singing and dancing! I guess there will be alot of that!
