August 4, 200916 yr thanks!!! hopefully I won't get caught up taking pictures, but I hope to get some amazing close ups!! so the list of pit people as of right now is: Laura, Amy, Mel, Lori and Angie, and me (Kaleigh) am I missing anyone?? soo excited!!! 5 more days ( if my counting isn't off!) Raising hand! Me! I'm flying from Orange County, CA, arriving in Atlanta Saturday afternoon, then on to Tampa Sunday morning, landing at 10:10. Still trying to decide on a hotel for Sunday night, and it would be nice if I could get one with an early check-in on Sunday. Also Kelly (kspillers2) and her mother in law have pit tickets. I'm so excited.

We're not sure whether or not to drive directly back home after the concert :uhoh::P @Technicolor....Yay, I'll WILL be joining yall in the pit with my silly, Coldplay-loving 67 year old mother -in- law! And my hubbie snagged us the hotel from Hotwire.....The Crowne Plaza near the airport for like under 60$ a night.It's about a 20+/- drive to the venue I think. Not sure if that's the greatest area of Tampa or not, but it's really close to a beach of some sorts (for me):sunny: and according to the hotel's website, a big shopping area...(gotta send the mom-inlaw somewhere on the off hours you know?) P.S. All of us Coldplayers gota make a big space on the front line of the pit to save for Mel, who'll be working Oxfam.

I'd love to stay at the Hard Rock, but online prices are high, and I'm too afraid to try priceline or hotwire to try to get it. Maybe I'll call the hotel directly, and see if they can give me a better rate. How far do you have to drive? It's taken me about 45 minutes to get out of the parking lot at the last 2 concerts, so by then it's about midnight. Can't wait to meet everyone. I know gates open at, what, 4? What time are people starting to line up? I have all day in Tampa...

Was I wrong? No, it was good to ask for confirmation. But I get a lot of real mail in my spam box too. I always skim before deleting. What was the email address he sent it from? A generic like gmail or yahoo, or babelgum? To enter the contest, you just needed to give your email address and they would contact you if you won (that's what it said on the UK site).

August 4, 200916 yr First off U2's shows are not sold out in the US. There are good seats available. They're almost $300 each but they are there. Most of what's going on at this show is all Live Nation's fault. First they release shit seats and everyone buys those. Then a month or so later, they release better seats and everyone has to put their shit seats up for sale on ebay or Stubhub to buy a better seat. Then even later still, they release PIT tickets after everyone has already bought not one, but two tickets and then they wonder why they aren't selling. Well maybe if you offered all the seats from the begining dipshits, you could sell them! :angry: The angie, that is so true. It happened to me. Live Nation=:angry: Dianne, I'm sorry about your camera. I hope you get the parts on time.

Now you really have to sell those sec 8 tickets :) I am taking my 17yr old daughter and 14 yr old son, my hubby and I didn't get them tickets 6 months ago, cause they were not really thrilled, so now 6 months later they had started listening to them and now my daughter is a big GUY fangirl:D
