Both were good, jay-z bit aite. VLV should have been longer, and I prefer Radiohead with the whole band but itt was diff which makes performances less boring. If you want it with the band normally you go see them in concert!

Katy Perry and the Jonas Brothers sounded dreadful!:stunned:

but I missed the bass, and well I don't saying anything for ed and phil because ed just claps and phil was replaced...

coldplay was good, I mean it was the best performance of viva la vida, after the acoustic ones, but it could have been better

 

 

I haven't actually liked a single award performance by coldplay to be honest.. Did they play just Viva La Vida or Lost too?

Coldplay is another story though.. i just skipped Lost because i've gotten so sick of that song (i've never really liked it anyway) and started to watch Viva La Vida but man..i just felt embarrassed for Chris. Maybe it's been too long since i last saw live vids by them or something but that was just totally silly looking.

At least he didn't look as foolish as the Grammys in 2006!

Lol. Maybe not quite that, but it was in the height of his X&Y phase where Chris saw no problem with sprinting, dancing, groping the crowd, spinning and rolling around while trying to sing at the same time. Naturally his vocals were crap since he was out of breath the whole time, so it all seemed a bit :rolleyes:.

 

That said, Jonny saved some of it with his cool guitar sound and solo. But on the whole it just wasn't very good. Chris sings a whole lot better when he has a piano or guitar in his hands. Cause when he doesn't he tries to make up for it by running laps and dancing like an african bird.
