February 14, 200917 yr What I'm reading is that it's a cry of attention by saying "this is my last post" only to come back a week or so later saying no it isn't. This place is like the hotel California, you can check out but you can never leave *cue evil laugh*
February 15, 200917 yr  @ Kite. ... well just today i've checked last RJ Fox post, strangely on her case she posted on a i'm back thread and then has gone MIA since then 2006 (i think). *sounds main X-Files them* edit: Bryce, you don't know he used to be Mr Evil not so long ago. :P
February 15, 200917 yr Kind of a morbid thought, but you know if I any of us walked outside right now and were hit by a bus..no one here would know what happened. There some exceptions of course, for those who know each other outside coldplaying.com, but if I had a heart-attack right now...

There some exceptions of course, for those who know each other outside coldplaying.com, but if I had a heart-attack right now... well you are right, and that's sad. there are some people who has disappear for not known reason :( and well about rae leaving, i think everyone as is free to join the board is free to leave the board. :)
February 15, 200917 yr @ ari, how long ago? ^ Ive always though about that. How if one of us were to die it is likely no one here would know and then you hear on the news about how a teenage guy from australia commited suicide and was an avid coldplay fan and you wonder whether it was the same guy... reminds me of the song stan.

February 15, 200917 yr Well, let it be known that if I don't say anything about going away, and I spontaneously disappear from this forum for at least 365 days, something has probably gone terribly wrong over here.
February 15, 200917 yr I have a network of events which will kick in if anything should ever happen to me, but hopefully I shall never have to use it.
February 15, 200917 yr Do you mean you have people to spread about the news of your death/sickness or you are in such an important position that everyone would know anyway?
February 15, 200917 yr i've wondered about that too, about how if some members left and died, no one would ever know what happened. however, lots of the regulars have relationships with other members through other venues (like IMing or facebook). basically, if you know someone's facebook, i feel like you'd know if they died, since all of their real-life friends would post things on their walls, etc. it's so morbid, though :worried:

Plus, finding out something bad happened to someone you know on the Internet is creepy.. My family's unlikely to be calling my entire contact list I have on my mobile, nor put something in the local newspaper.. It freaked us out. So we came up with the idea of having a list of names, like a "you need to tell these people I'm dead" list, which we never did of course. That was freaking depressing..
February 15, 200917 yr This was one of the first things I thought about when I started making friends here. And, as horrible as this sounds, when friends haven't been on in a loooooong time I start to panick...:uhoh: But yeah, with facebook and all it's hard to hide it. But it's still creepy.
February 15, 200917 yr I don't understand what is going on here  What was happening to her?
