May 20, 200917 yr I'm trying, but it's so incredibly frustrating! Neither of them have ever been to concerts, they just don't get it. They somehow didn't even understand that the pit is first-come first-serve, even though I've been fricking TELLING THEM THAT since we got the tickets. Today my friend was like "why do we have to get there early, don't we have reserved seats?" :veryangry2: :veryangry2: WTF. plus she's all like "what about dinner? what about going to the bathroom?" and I don't know if we'll be able to leave the pit and get our spots back. And most importantly, I NEED to hear ENL! :bigcry:
May 20, 200917 yr Of course I'm happy I'm in the pit, but if I could've gotten front row but I didn't because her dad won't let her miss half of one history class (and we're not even learning anything anymore, friday's the last day of classes), I am going to be REALLY FUCKING PISSED.

May 20, 200917 yr Author aw im sorry zoo :hug: there's only one thing to do then: continue to emphasize how important this really is to you and that you're not learning anything anymore and that it's HALF of a class period. just keep on begging/pleading them. and if all that fails, well then make sure your friend's parents arent the ones taking you, tell the teacher you've been given permission to leave early, and just make sure your friend doesnt tell her parents you left early.

I've already thought of that :P My mom's taking us and she's totally on my side (she called my friend's dad tonight to try to convince him), but she wouldn't go along with lying to her parents :(

May 20, 200917 yr he was getting someone out as they ran to second, and I believe it was an article entitled "the Nationals find another way to lose" :P but I couldn't tell if it was in that article, or just the one recapping the stats from the game the night before :thinking: I'll try to find a link for you...
