Definetely album of the year ;_;

 

I listened to it a few times and now I'm trying to wait for the release date

I really like the last song on the album, but the rest doesn't really do much for me. Maybe it will grow on me eventually though.

I only found out about their album leaking when I went to see them on friday. They mentioned it at the show. The new stuff sounded great live btw. Annoyingly the sound was just a tiny bit too loud, just edging on distortly loud. Eeek gah

 

 

 

I also found out that they have only played in Ireland twice in the past 3 years and I have been at both of their shows. awhh yiss.

I was afraid I was overhyping this album like I did with the xx album (which is very good, just not quite brilliant). But goddamn, Shields is every bit as great as I hoped.

 

But yes, for beginners, Veckatimest is a great place to start.

that s right. i need to give veckatimest another chance.. listened to it only once yet..

I love Veckatimest. It's my favorite of theirs. Shields is so close to being better tho, not gonna lie ;_____________;;;

Catching them in Singapore in March. Only started getting into them after listening to Shields on Spotify. Never heard of their other albums yet though. Lol.
