Having said that, Ready Able would make a mighty fine single too.

cant wait for tomorrows webcast. theyre up after M83 and before the Flaming Lips, had no idea pitchfork fest got such good lineups.

I can say that i quickly got into Veckatimest and it's the album that I've been listening to all week!! It's pretty amazing, the other two albums are the ones I should be giving a proper listen to. For now I will enjoy the latest!

I've been listening to Grizzly Bear for the past week.

Veckatimest is the 3rd album I love from the first listen after AROBTTH & In Rainbows.

you're one of the very few people who loved the album from first listen. took me about 10 listens before i got my head around every song.

I guess I found my new favourite band. :smiley:

I prefered Yellow House for ages

 

But I think I might prefer Veckatimest now

did Yellow House make a similar impact to veckatimest when it came out? i wasnt really into indie alternative music back then.

fabulous thread. Grizzy Bear are one of those bands that give hope to music nowadays... I'm in love with their music. (i cannot stop listening to Knife..)

For those that don't know and are in the tri-state area they are playing a FREE show with Beach House in Brookyln on the 30th... i'm gonna try to go, dunno if i will w/ classes starting soon

edit: it seems as though animation is a big theme being used lately in music videos (strawberry swing, house of cards, i'll go crazy if i don't go crazy tonight, etc)
