Today has been a brilliant day in the Coldplaying world. After the amazing Postcards from Far Away Project, we got a massive thank you in the form of a video on the Coldplay main site, it was awesome! Obviously we can't do the same thing every year, we have done it once and it was great and Coldplay wouldn't be as chuffed but I was thinking, maybe we could do something else? We don't have to, but i want to hear your thoughts.

 

I was thinking of 'The One Minute I Held The Keyring Project'.

 

In peoples towns/cities all over the world there are chances that their are keyrings in their towncentres or by the seafront and it is very easy to make your own keyring. So maybe do something more interesting, a keyring? I don't know but I think it would be interesting.

I don't think that we have to "force" another project... the cool thing about postcards was that it was totally unexpected... if we do this kind of things regularly, it won't be that surprising or awesome anymore, and they might feel forced to gives something as the vid

I would LOVE a new project! I wasn't on the board when the first one started, so I missed all the thinking about it. I did send a card though, and it is really great how happy this project made everyone here :nice:

 

So I'd definately join a new project. Something that has to do with VLV sounds perfect. I'm gonna think about it and post my ideas here!

I know what you mean, but it was sooo fun and people who didn't do postcards would have a oppurtunity to do this keyrings one for example. If it was at a different time of year aswell, that would be interesting, i don't know but it is very fun!, it could give Coldplay something to look forward to like every year ;) Make every year different or something?

Secret Santa?

 

 

I thought about it in december, but christmas was too close...

 

when I was a newbie I remember there was a secret santa, I received a nice christmas card from a brazilian girl... maybe we could do that next december or something like that but maybe not at christmas... I don't know

I really think we need to give this project at LEAST 2 years to seep in. Because really, it's special just because it was original and unexpected, and thanks to Lore, it was inspired directly by one of their songs. That's what really made this special. So unless something else really inspiring comes out next year or something, I don't think starting up another project is such a cool idea.

i know what you mean, but keyrings arn't really reading so won't take as much type up and lots of Coldplay keyrings/releated objects would be great to have round the bakery for them, to remind them while they are working that they are doing it for us fans! :D

I'm not trying to force anything :), Keyrings was something that popped into my head because they are quite small and not heavy we can't have things too big because they would be expensive to send...i don't know? Any other ideas?
