I'd love to know if anyone's made custom EPs based around the themes the guys have given us. I've made two myself which I'm rather fond of:

 

The 'Serenade of Sound' EP:

The 'Way Down South' EP:

And I'm not sure why but I think "A Ghost" would go well in there somewhere.

I'd love to hear what playlists others have made, not really album-length ones, but more EP-length as I wrote. I'm thinking of making another one around the theme of the sun.

I've either never heard 'A Ghost' (in which case it must be one of the few tracks I haven't!!) or have forgotten it (unbelievable I know). I'm gonna go straight off now and track it down, thanks a lot!

 

I agree about having Prospekt's March in there too. I did think of that, but it was already in the other EP :laugh3: I'll add it, but can never, ever leave out Gravity for it. It'll have to be another bonus track :P

Ah well, We'll just say its a hidden track and its already there. haha

Well, "custom EPs" is a fine name too. It's just, when I think of "EP," I think of the songs being made to be together on the same CD (not sure how much sense I'm making).

 

I don't really have any ideas in mind at this point, but maybe I'll think of something eventually.

Hmmm, still thinking about my 'sun' themed collection, and a name for it. Only a few tracks so far, obviously Lovers in Japan and Ladder to the Sun and one or two more.

 

All suggestions welcome!

I'd got Sleeping Sun on the list but hadn't even thought of the other two :)

 

With Yellow on there it'd have to be something like the 'Stars and the Sun EP' but that still needs work I think, not quite right yet...

^Yeah, I wasn't sure about Yellow. I know it refers to the stars, but... the brightness and the yellowness of the song makes me think of the sun also. :P

Well I loved that suggestion, and I didn't have enough tracks with just the sun theme :laugh3:

 

I think I'll add White Shadows into the mix ('all of the stars in the outer space') and am thinking it'll be either the 'Outer Space EP' or the 'Sun, Earth and Stars EP'.

I actually like "Sun and Stars EP." Adding in Earth makes it a bit too long, I think. I'm not sure that White Shadows fits in quite enough, but it's of course up to you.
