Anyone think I could use Coldplay in an English class?

No, not to plagarize. We're on a poetry unit in English, and we're supposed to bring in poetry that we like, and I asked if we could use songs. Our teacher said, "Yes, but only if you... divorce them from the melody."

And I just realized, crap, some of Coldplay's lyrics are really deep and poetic. Actually, scratch that, I would definitely say almost all of them are (Ode to Deoderant excluded :P) So anyone else think that'd be a good idea?
