Coldplay have now met the Australian band that supposedly inspired their fashion sense.

 

After the group's blue, green, red and purple jackets drew Wiggles comparisons at last month's Grammy Awards in LA, lead singer Chris Martin chatted with three of the original Hot Potato singers - Jeff Fatt, Murray Cook and Anthony Field - after Coldplay's Acer Arena gig last week.

 

Martin and wife Gwyneth Paltrow's daughter, Apple, 4, is said to be a huge fan of the kiddies' group. Coldplay also incorporated The Wiggles' song Fruit Salad into their set on the night.
