No no, it doesn't look clustered at all. It's really really nice. What dyou do with your textures, just mess around with the blend mode/opacities?

Is there a method to it? I can rarely work them out.

Haha. Well, thanks very much for your comment. If you're really into making graphic art then I think it's worth it. ;)

Oh, alright. That's what I was afraid of. That it looks to messy. Thanks. :nice:

I wouldn't say that there's a method to it. It's just you have to... like know what textures will go with the base of what you have. First I do my coloring than afterward I search for nice textures. If I want it smooth I'll find smooth textures and what not. When I place them onto my base I do change blending modes and the opacity of the texture. And move around layers. I also go to Image - Apply Image. There you can also change the blending mode again. I use that a lot.

If you want, I could upload .PSD's a few of the recent signatures I have made, including this one, for you? Than you could possibly see what I do.

Hmm. Okay. Sounds pretty basic, guess you just have to find the niche? And thanks for the Apply Image tip. I'll use that for sure. :)

Do you have any good texture or just any graphic resource sites you use? I have trouble finding them. Like to find one of the textures for that Chris towery sig I made up there... i literally googled "light texture" :P And for the rest I tend to use ones that I have saved over and over. :(

Okay... wow. I had a whole lot typed and I exited out of the window. wtf.

Anyway....

Sure. You're welcome. Yeah, once you get the hang of using textures, it's really easy.

The only thing I find to be frustrating is when you can't get things to look right or you can't seem to find the right textures.

Yeah, I have a website for you. It's called DeviantART. You probably heard of it before, but most of all the time I get my textures there.

Or from another website called LiveJournal.

Here's the website:

And here are some textures that I use a lot in my signatures from DA:

Hope that helps you out. :nice:
