Well, if she wouldn't have resorted to calling me names, there wouldn't have been a problem to begin with.

I disagree, I saw you post something stupid in another thread and then you basically said you drool over half naked men, which as much as you claim it to be tongue in cheek, you wouldn't have said unless you do it ebcause it's not exactly a hilarious thing to say otherwise is it?

I didn't say you were pathetic anyway, I said drooling over half naked douche bags is.

Say what you want. No matter how you put it, you're wrong, in more ways than you or anyone else may realize. I'm not some ignorant teen who just sits there and wistfully thinks of men who lack clothes. I have much better and more productive ways to live my life, thank you very much. And even if it's not funny, that doesn't mean you take stuff like that SERIOUSLY. In addition to not being ignorant and drooly, I'm also not a pervert, even though I may say things that make me seem otherwise.

Gosh, I'm so frickin' tired of being attacked by everyone.

Technicolorgreeneyes, just shut up.

Violetsparks

I'm not a perv, and I think there should be a law that hot guys can't wear shirts in public.

Look, technicolorgreeneyes, if you're gonna keep this up I'm going to have to ask you to step outside with me.

c'mon people chill.

i prefer men with their shirts on actually

Whoa! What did just happened in here? :shocked2:

Sorry if I added to the fire with my comments.

I just wanted to amuse the girls with the annecdote about a neighbor who I have seen jogging with no shirt. I did not expect anyone to find this offensive.

In Florida (I don't know about other places), joggers and runners tend to exercise with few pieces of clothing on because it's very humind here.

Can't I compliment on this guy's physique? I don't think I said it in a way that sounded pervy or like I'm some teen who salivates over guys with no t-shirt.

Like Zeoir, I actually love seeing well-dressed guys with suits, or at least wearing nice pants and long-sleeved shirts.

Yea well Technicolorgreeneyes enjoys getting in arguments with people and just being rude in general.

Creativity.

Oh dear,that smiley is cursed....

In the words of VioletSparks, "You don't know me maaaaan, don't make assumptions about my life from a few posts, you don't know anything about me"

I didn't start it with any intent to argue I just wanted to share my disgust at men who wear no tops

^ See, now there you are making fun of how I talk. That's not how I said that at all.

And I didn't have a problem with anything you said until you basically sat there and told me you HATED me for something that doesn't even matter.

I'm sure she'll get over it.

The key is not giving people food for arguements.....or if they try to start arguements don't continue them.

*sigh* I know. It's just a bad habit I've gained over the years. I always feel the need to explain and defend myself if people question me. I figure if I try to make my point, people might listen and leave it be. Ohhh, I have much to learn...

Yeah, I know what you mean.

Sometimes I just have to bite my tongue and shut up.

It happened in real life. My friend was ignoring me, then got upset. And my response after writing many different ones was just "wow ok" and I left it at that.

Yeah, I suppose I just need to not be so hasty when I say things.

It really is. To be honest, it surprises me, because in most other cases, I'm rather quiet.

I think its part of the trait of wanting to make things write.

Even if you are quiet. Just because if you let things slide it starts to eat you up. And reputation means alot. And you don't want people to have a negative view of you because of how you said something that they might not agree with, etc.

If any of this is making sense.

No, that makes sense. Although I don't necessarily agree with the reputation bit; I can't keep up with something that I never had to begin with. :p The rest of it is spot-on, particularlty the "negative view" bit. Despite the fact that you know that not everyone is going to view you the same way, you still strive to have as many people see you the way you want to be seen as possible.

Sorry, that was a bit lengthy.
