September 8, 200916 yr I'm glad I'm not a Pirates fan either...a losing tradition for 17 years, and counting...that would suck! At least the Nationals are new to DC. They've only had to deal with losing for 5 seasons. And the Nationals are at least trying to get better, where the Pirates are just trying to unload salary.

And, being an Astros fan, this saddens me. :bigcry: I fully understand your frustration...I can't stand the Cardinals. But at least it's not the AL Central - nobody ever wants to win that division, and that's the only reason that race is usually so tight, not because the teams are really good or anything. Although in that case, maybe the Cubs and White Sox should switch divisions...then the Cubs would probably only be 2 games out at this point. (Not sure of actual records, just making a jab)
