The Quest for the Stanley Cup 2009

Featured Replies

I can finally comment in here without feeling embarrassed.

Flyers finally looked like they are a contender.

It was quite a game. I wish I was there, though. Looked like there was a lot of stuff going on behind the plays.

Anyone annoyed with the NBC announcers, as well? Maybe I just like the local ones better. I'm not sure. haha

Can't believe the Ducks won again!

Can't believe the Ducks won again!

I know! What the hell!

I'm kind of happy because that means good things for the Canucks. But kind of bummed out cause I love the Sharkies.

That being said, I kind of felt sorry for the Sharks when they drew the Ducks, cause the Ducks were playing good and they're always tough. But still, I totally expected the Sharks to pull it out. Hopefully they still do.

I dunno, I am terrified of the facing the Ducks for some reason.

Way to go Flyers! They got one at home. Hopefully tomorrow night they can even things up.

I, also, hate the Pens.

Let's go Flyers!

I third that.

Vancouver is moving on. I'm unsure if they can do too much though. They had a close series with a team they should not of been that close with. How can they expect to beat Detroit or San Jose or Anaheim. I dont think that will happen.

Thoughts?

Most playoff games will be close anyhow. And mind you they didn't manage to lose any games either.

That being said, I think we can beat Chicago or Calgary easily. Detroit might be a bit difficult.

And that's who it comes down to this round. So... :\

:bigcry:

Aww.. it's okay. There's always next year.

One of my teachers is a Habs fan and today he was a bit depressed about how it would be his last game in several months.

He's a big Canuck hater too, and was putting down our fans cause during our celebration festivites, a police officer got his leg broken.

I was about to say are you kidding me? Do you not remember how you guys lit a police cars on fire a looted the shops just last year? But I didn't, thank goodness.

ahaha yeah. Habs fans can't really say anything about behaviour.

But I mean in every city, the people who are doing this aren't necessarily fans. They're just trouble setters.

I never had much hope in the Habs this post season. Having Markov out was a big blow...then losing Tanguay and Schneider. Big blows.

Can't believe the caps are down 1-3 in their series. Wow.

Lol yeah, that's true about the real fans thing.

I felt horrible for Price though. Sure he hasn't played well, but come on he's a young kid and not like the team in front of him helped him out. Sheesh.

And totally about the Caps. Ovechkin got all frustrated with the reporters after the game. Poor girl. That being said, I am rooting for the Rangers anyways so woo. Sean Avery is an idiot though, wow.

Ovechkin has the right to get frustrated. If you remember highlights from game 2 or 3, when he got back from the other back and made two different great defensive plays. Hes the only one that I feel wants to be on the ice til he has the cup in his hands. everyone else is kinda just doing there normal thing. No passion.

I'm going for the Rangers in this one. I should have predicted them to win. If you read my predictions I seemed biased towards the Rangers...then I picked Caps in 7 haha.

And man, this Calgary-Chicago series is some entertaining. Lots of lead changes or blown leads hhaa.

I know Calgary is Canadian but I love the young team theyve got goign in Chicago, so I'm pretty indifferent on the final results of the series.

Yeah, I'm pretty much the same. Whoever wins that series is who I am going for in the West.

yea. I wouldnt mind seeing the ducks make a few upsets though...san jose and then detroit...
