Vancouver up 2-1 in the series and after that display by Luongo I dont know what Chicago will be able to do the rest of the series.

Salo took 10 minutes to speak with the media following Vancouver's afternoon skate on Wednesday to discuss the "lower-body" injury that sidelined him for Game 3. Well, at least that's what we thought.

One reporter asked Salo. "So what exactly was your injury? Was it ankle, knee, groin …"

"Yeah, that's close," Salo replied. "Or maybe it's just a burning sensation when I pee. Who knows?"

Lol Sami. What a guy.

the caps lost last night, i dont know how they did. It was kinda nice to see malkin get a goal though. The game was entertaining to watch though.

I found this clip from an NHL.com article quite interesting...shows how hot hiller is right now

Turning shots into goals is Job 1 for Red Wings

Thursday, 05.07.2009 / 12:36 PM / Conference Semifinals: Detroit vs. Anaheim

By Eric Stephens - NHL.com Correspondent

ANAHEIM -- If a hockey game was decided by the number of shots one team took, the Detroit Red Wings would have a commanding lead in this best-of-7 Western Conference Semifinal.

Of course, it's about goals, and the defending champions aren't scoring enough of them against the upstart Anaheim Ducks.

Despite holding a 145-93 shot advantage that includes a decisive disparity in each of the first three games, Detroit has managed to put only seven of them past Anaheim goalie Jonas Hiller.

very true. not much I can do, giguere played in my hometown all his junior career and i dont know I just really like the players on that team.

The Caps vs. Pens game last night was intense :stunned:. Very entertaining though...

i was playing pool and watching, loved the ot, minus the caps losing

^Nice. I just loved it from the very begining to the very end, well in the ot at least Letang finally scored he kept messing up a few times before in the game. But I still don't know who I want to win the series lol, oh well

Hoping for a Hawks win in game 5 Saturday!

Was pleased with both results last night.

And was glad even though I watched one period of the Wings-Ducks I was able to see my mancrush Franzen pop in two goals.

Well I only saw the last 10 minutes of the Pens-Caps game, but looks like it was high scoring/exciting. Glad to see the Pens tie it up.
