We got to this point, won the division by playing one style of hockey. And I understand that the playoffs are a different animal, but we should not be sitting back playing the trap. Especially if we don't even have a lead. Especially against Chicago, who can quite easily generate offense. I feel like we're all of a sudden in the 06/07 playoffs all over again. He made two crucial plays that helped them win. The first was keeping the puck in on the powerplay. That was huge. Then the pass he made to Bolland was perfect. He saw that Mitchell? had broken his stick and was able to make that risky pass. This series has been a game of chess, so AV is going to have to change his game plan because the Blackhawks have adjusted to his stiffling trap.
