Oh yes it was :sneaky:

Super Norwegian Dorkyness <3

congrats norway, what a great song! :D definitely the best one in my opinion, and strangely enough this time i knew within the first minute this guy was going to win, heh. really good :nice: will probably be stuck in my head for the next few days ^^

i also liked the UK and denmark (btw thanks to both for 7 points ^^), iceland's song was wonderful as well aaand i liked portugal and moldova.

honestly, i didn't really cross my fingers for germany anyway  the song wasn't the best and i don't really like naked people on stage, so yeah... a few more points would have been nice, but compared to the last years, the result isn't bad.

goodnight!

To be honest, I didn't even feel like watching this show this year because in my opinion it loses a bit of its (already low) level each year... But I usually have a lot of fun at the part where the points are being distributed, mostly because most countries are so predictable. So I thought I might give it a go and hey, it wasn't that bad this year! That kind of surprised me as well, but there were some more decent entries and less annoying entries, at least in my humble opinion. :)

I really liked the fact that the bigger part of the participants rather counted on ballads and "slower" songs instead of the annoying stuff with a lot of show and less focus on the singing. :)

I've never been thinking much of the German entries as I can't even remember the last time we had an acceptable one, so I don't really care about how far we get. ;) Instead, my favourite tonight was Denmark. I'm not a big fan of Ronan Keating, but I somehow liked that song and the performance. :) I also liked Portugal and Iceland. Well, as for the winner... That guy actually seems to be quite likeable and he's obviously impressively good at playing the violin, but I didn't like his singing/voice that much. Nevertheless, the song's quite nice and I think he deserves the victory, so congratulations to Norway! :D

Portugal or Denmark should have won

Agreed, liked Iceland too ... in my opinion, portugal will never win singing in portuguese

The only problem with the whole thing (despite the so terrible their good acts :P) is the rigging of it. Norwway was rigged to win and it did. But it was not necessarily the best act. But there are some good acts occasionally. I'm not sure if anyone remembers last year's Eurovision with Finland's heavy metal band Terasbetoni, who are incredibly awesome.

Oh, it's predictable. Spain gives points to Portugal, Portugal gives points to Spain. Sweden gives points to Finland and Norway, and vice versa. It's all a matter of politics.

I didn't watch because I think this contest is pointless and stupid, but I just wanted to ask you to forget the french singer, I feel a bit ashamed :shame:

How did Norway win?! It was an average song, and he wasn't that cute. Finland should have won! UK did well, even though the song was dull dull dull.

Max Mutzke was one of the most acceptable ones ever...;)

congrats to Norway...the song was ok...

My mom wanted Norway to win so badly, and the whole time she was like "Omg omg omg let the guy from Norway win" she was so stressed out about it, you should've seen her after the voting was done she was soo happy :P. I didn't really thing he'll win, some of the other countries had way better vocals, but his song was kind of catchy:P, so congratz to him :D.

double post.

triple post.

ughhh wtf -_- sorry guys...

Very true.

Yay the UK didn't finish last :D

Haha, we did yeah baby :cool3: not every country is able to finish last...

Haha, Finland shouldn't have won. I didn't think they'd do THAT bad though.. i thought we'd make it to the top 15 or so but apparently not :uhoh:
