NEw album is great ( has a few weak tracks) and I like about 4 of their old ones

i dont think it has any weak tracks,the first did

Near the end it gets weak, but the begining is amazing! :D

Btw, I have a question to their fans here: Anyone knows Faris Badwan's (lead singer) origins? His name strikes me as smth Arabic so I'm sort of interested and couldn't find aaanything by googling him

Sea within a Sea is by far the best track.

How different is Strange House from Primary Colours..?

 

I'm still a bit hesitant about downloading it, basically because I don't want their garagey shoegazy image to be erased for me, which does sound a bit unfair, to be honest, but yeah

well 2yrs after their awesome sophomore effort the Horrors are back with a new album. It will be calling Skying and will be released July 26. Here is the first release from it, Still Life.

I love Still Life. And I love that it sounds more like Primary Colours than Strange House.

listening to Primary Colours tonight. there's something about punk music that feels so very empowering. i know this is post punk but those essential "i know i can't sing and our music is noisy but if you don't like it then you can fuck off" qualities are still there. i love it!
