Well I thought it was very classic Tudors. Same excitement as in the past seasons! Very good.

And I think Culpepper is a lot more devious than I expected! But I'm still fascinated by him, and love his stunning icy green eyes. Katherine Howard...she told Culpepper that she wasn't so used to being looked at by everyone but I think she quite likes having the attention upon her. And I feel for Tamzin because playing someone like Katherine who is always so energetic and bouncy must get tiring! :P

Charles is VERY reserved these days, and I feel so bad for him! Dumb wife of his!:whip:

Henry is the same old Henry, and Mary is the same old Mary. But is there any hope for her to find a husband this season, or do we already know that that doesn't happen?

She will get married to Philip II of spain but very 'late' in her life (she was 38). He will not love her and will even try to get married to Elizabeth after Mary's death (she had tumor that everyone mistook for a pregnancy...).

We won't see Philip since they get married after Henry's death but I'm still hoping to see the Duke of Bavaria from last year again. In real life, he had courted Mary for some time but their engagement were suddenly broken off... And one of the trailers, we see Mary dancing with someone, so I'm hoping Philip! (he kinda look like Christian Bale so my interest is purely historical :awesome: )

Ah, poor Mary. Her life really ends up being not so amazing. :\

Some spoilers from the costume designer about the season finale!!!! She talks costumes for that scene of course and the return of the wives!!

 

Costume Designer, Joan Bergin said :

 

"... the greatest thrill for me was making the costume for the famous Holbein portrait that everyone knows of Henry VIII. I think everyone thought that we would deliver a version of it, but what we delivered was every exact detail, so that when he walked onto the set the gasp was very wonderful! We even made the jewellery to match the portrait. It was just wonderful.

 

How did you dress the final scenes that end the season and the show?

The final great moment is the reappearance of Henry’s wives so I went for the whole gothic look, black and big veils. They appear in costumes that we haven’t seen before; I thought it was important to have a particular look to have them as almost a separate poster for the last 2 episodes to show him as old. He got the most wonderful makeup from an LA makeup artist to show him old. So they are kind of angels of death really, all black and white."

Well when Kitty was accused of cheating, there was an investigation to determine if Kitty was guilty. During this, a love letter from Kitty to Culpeper was found which mention Lady Rochford and prove her role of medler in the affair....So she was put in the Tower and was 'questionned' for many months but not tortured cause she was noble. She became depressed and kinda crazy. Henry wanted to get rid of her but the law forbid to kill mad people so Henry put a law that allow to kill them... :dozey: She was condamned to death without a trial and then chop-chop....
