This isn't the Coldplay book. It's a novel. They're in it but it's not the book I was writing years ago. It's supposed to be out next September but given there's a credit crunch on, who knows??

I am going on a couple af vacations soon, and I would have loved this read on the plane, I guess I will re-read "Look at the stars" for the millionth time.

Credit crunch? Ah...I'm pretty sure you'll find a solid group of people here who would buy your book..so I don't think you'll need to worry too much bout that...maybe start a "Who would buy Debs' novel poll" to see who would buy it? I want both so bad!

I share the same publisher and at the moment a few books are delayed for various reasons so hopefully it's still coming but it's been put back for now.

2010 and no idea if PB or HB. It's about an optimistic, hungry young northern girl who moves to London to pursue her dream of working for a major label to try and discover the next big thing and the consequences. I don't know if I'm allowed to give the title away just yet though...!

Thank you for your email. Sorry it has taken me a while to come back to you: I was out of the office when it came through. Yes, we are going to publish this title (It's actual title will be 'Roadie: My Life With Cold Play'), but I am afraid it is not coming out until next year. The date of publication is at the moment May 2010 but that may change as we get nearer to the publication date. So it will definitely happen but I am afraid you are going to need to wait a little while longer for it to appear.

 

Sorry - hope it will be worth the wait!
