I haven't heard them played on the radio lately..:(

unfortunately it seems to be the consensus that Sweet Disposition is the best track on the album by a long way. so once people realise that, it will turn them off the album and that will hurt sales and radio airplay. Fader is a decent song also.

i'm saying that the album doesnt give much aside from Sweet Disposition. one song can only take you so far.

Hm... I'm the opposite. I expected great things from this record and was quite disappointed. The only track I really like is Science of Fear and I prefer the single version. Rest is also pretty good, really catchy but you have to admit the song itself is a bit of a joke.

Oh well yeah, SD is awesome but Lost Love is actually my fave.... Science of Fear is pretty decent too, so it can't all be too bad..:\

Sweet Disposition is the pearl of the record,ok.

But the whole album is a great work,there's only one song that is not on the same level of the others imo and is track number 6 (fader).

This is one of the best records of the year without a doubt!

lets hope the rest of the UK and US agree with you. australia is desperate for another big international band especially after wolfmother imploded.

I think the World Of Music section is officially my favourite place to come and discover new bands. I listened to their album this morning and alot of it sounds really good. Their sound is like, a mixture of everything I love :D

 

Though, I really love the single version of Science Of Fear, but I can't seem to find a high quality version of it, which is a shame. The last part of the song is a lot better than on the album, in my opinion.

 

But I'm really loving a lot of their other tracks as well - Lost Love, Rest, and Sweet Disposition - though I think the album in it's entirety is lacking a little punch to make it really stand out for me. But I will definitely be following this band from now on, they sound very promising :wideeyed:. They almost seem like a perfect meld of Coldplay, Kings Of Leon and U2 when they get it right. I can even hear a bit of Phoenix influence on Down River.

i dont mean to have a go at you but what aspect of their music or lyrics reflects kings of leon?

 

if you guys like this lot then try Decoder Ring, they supported coldplay on their aus tour and were brilliant.

They don't sound like colpdlay/u2/kol to me....their style (especially the vocal parts) are soulful,

its something like a mix between the old school r&b with some funk.
