Well im glad this thread has gone off topic AND GOD DAMNIT WE WENT OUT AND BOUGHT AN 80 DOLLAR TELESCOPE THAT WORKED LIKE SHIT AND THEY WOULD TAKE IT BACK FOR THE LONGEST TIME!!

YAY I CAN SEE IT EVERY NIGHT. its like really close to the moooon :sneaky:

finally went to an observatory to see it - had to wait in the longest line ever and didn't even really get to see it through a telescope. we waited hours to see it on a stupid tv screen. what bs. i guess i at least saw the icecap, though - or at least of what i could make from it.
