Noise cancelling ones at least, because you don't need to turn them up as loud to hear them, this seems correct if you've ever been on a bus or train before, people with the standard ear phones you can usually hear exactly what they're playing, in ear phones are silent.
November 5, 201114 yr Noise canceling ones, yes. But not standard ear buds. It's not just hearing damage, but inner ear damage from constant pressure over time.
