I put 4 for myself. But it really depends on my self esteem, like sometimes I see myself in the mirror and think I'm a 1, and other times I think I'm a perfect 5. Right now I'm a 4, but if I sat around for the next month eating pizza and being depressed, I'd probably be a 1.

Well we're probably better-looking than average simply because we are younger than the general population.

 

But it's like if you asked people "What class are you in?" most people would say "middle class", regardless of whether they're rich or poor. People like being average when they're comparing themselves to the collective.
