You said that the post of yours that I quoted from another thread was just intended to mock others and not actually answer the question. I was asking if the first paragraph in the post of yours that I quoted was serious. I only referred to it as "depressing" because you did so in your second paragraph (hence the quotation marks that I used). Not blaming you for the misunderstanding. I wasn't clear in what I meant. I wasn't saying they should be forced, I was just intrigued because suicide is looked on as a massive taboo in culture in general. Of course it isn't and that's one of the things more people should realize about life. It really is not fair. Not everyone gets to do what they wanted and have the life they wanted. And people need to get over that and try to find happiness where they can. And yeah suicide is taboo in our culture, but in America, so is gay marriage. In some areas, so is equality for all races. The point of this thread was exactly what happened, some real discussion over people's views on the point of life. Notice how he didn't just ignore me when I said there is no point and that all answers are relative? I'm starting to know his persona as well and as little as you will believe it he's not just being an asshole. Wanting real threads and being fed up with stupidity does not make someone an asshole, it makes them human. And he was not having a "kick" with my answers, but even if he was I don't really care.
