Man, I should really be more athletic.

I used to box when I was a little girl and I really miss that. But I don't know, I watch my friends play Tennis sometimes and it doesn't look that exciting. That's just an each to their own kind of thing, though.

I want to learn how to play tennis

Its a lot of fun but hard to learn, at least for me.

and im a cheerleader!

Awesome

I never get bored at guitar or songwriting.

If you get bored of something, it's not a very good hobby for you is it?

I do not get bored of it...I just put too much pressure on myself when I play it and that's why I can't enjoy it sometimes...

So don't. I openly admit I suck at guitar, even though I've been playing for over two years. While that's not necessarily true and I am really good at some aspects of guitar playing, by admitting I suck in comparison to other guitarists I know, there's no pressure to be "the best". Try it, start telling everyone you suck and soon you'll start to believe it!

well...it always depends where I am...if I play the saxo here at home...people love my style of playing it...but then I get to other places like the town I currently live in and I meet so many cool and good musicians at work I start thinking that I suck...and I do not want to suck after 13 years...

LOL I guess it's different after 13 years.

So then be like Ian Anderson. He saw Clapton play once, gave up on guitar, and took up flute

hahah....I'd love to play the piano...but I need money for that...

I do not want to give up the saxophone...I love it too much

You shouldn't. I would love to play saxophone. It's one of my all time favorite instruments.

Just don't try to be what others call "good". Ply what how you want and do it for the love of playing.

I have never really been called a bad player I think...but sometimes I think I am....but on the other hand I do not care...I practised that song for a wedding which is tomorrow in a church today....and I was almost crying, because I want to take out the best of it and to feel it...and it worked...

That's great! See you're probably a lot better than you give yourself credit for. Most people are their own harshest critics.

Julia I bet you are amazing :wacky:

even if you can't play well, you are still better than any of us on here.

Baaaaahhhh

Sometimes I get sick of my favourite hobby: playing the saxophon.

It's time again

Because I want to be perfect in it, but I am not, so I get really sick of it sometimes, because it messes up my mind. Sometimes I just can't enjoy it anymore.

Anyone else?

it happen the same here at times... oh well i just give it time and move to do another thing for some time (could be enough just a couple days or a couple weeks it depens).

but don't press yourself in doing it perfect, may be you already do it perfect and you think not. :\

I get really tired of playing the piano at times. I really want to take up photography or something. I tried playing the guitar once and I got bored of it. I am going to try it again though.... :)

I'm sick of photography right now. It's the first time in almost 4 years that I've been sick of it, and I'm really afraid that I'll never fully get back into it, and that it was somehow just a phase. :worried2:

It usually happens, people evolve in every way including hobbys and the way they have fun.
