I dunno, honestly I've never fell in love with anyone else through internet and I dun't know of anyone that has. But I think it can be seen from two different points: in one hand, I find amazing the idea of finding a soulmate just through characters, not even a photo... not seeing the face save us from judging someone by the outside appearence, what happens so often, and so we're meeting and getting to know the other person in the purest way we can, no matter where the person came from, or their race or whatever.

In the other hand, it's one of the most dangerous things to do. It's obvious. From the moment we fall in love with someone we don't know, we'll frivoly want to meet that person and although we've been talking to that person we never know what kind of person we're gonna get. Plus, what if you're japanese and the other user is norwegian or something like that? wish you luck!

but yet, still beautiful this foruns make it possible to make the world a tiny place :)

ahah, I've heard of a woman that fell in love with some guy on a chat and then when they met she found out he was her ex-husband :awesome: funny

I agree with you completely, except it doesn't have to be dangerous. I think it would be less dangerous in most ways, for a girl. Because if you meet someone for the first time in real life they may take advantage of you. But on a forum, they can't really do that. You can talk to them for a long time on webcam, etc, so you know they are real. I actually think it's less dangerous if you already know everything about them before you meet them. I don't think people will often pretend on a regular forum like this one. I wouldn't meet someone I only knew for a week if I was a girl...

^yes, I was talking from that girl perspective. It's actually much more dangerous for us :\

I like the online thing. It's not ideal, and I prefer meeting people face to face, but having had quite a few relationships including one where I met someone online, there are certainly positives to the online. It is not a physical thing for one, and you can actually start admiring someone for who they actually are and the quality of their discussion. Of course you will never really know them. I don't believe you can fall in love online, but I certainly believe it can lay the foundations for when you do actually meet.

Has its negatives too.

It's more dangerous for girls.

Because I'm here.

oh my should I be afraid? :uhoh:

I taught Dfi.. Oh wait, you might not get that reference.

Doesn't matter.

Nah, I'm not too bad I don't think, but i guess it's not my place to say.

The man's got a good point. The only thing I don't agree with is 'I don't believe you can fall in love online'. I think you can. As long as it's not just chatting through messages and IMs. I think webcam is necessary (and phone calls), so that you know how the person speaks, how they react to things, how they express themselves, how they move, etc.

soulmate is a mystical affair. So nobody knows.

exactly as the existence of God believe or not .

Yeah, that stuff is a whole new level. I myself knew I could fall in love with the person before I met them. And I fell for them in a big way, but when I met them and we were together properly that was an even higher level completely.

me in real life find anyone, because i am old and know so much the men in real life and not know the net .

in net is much real because people not love world crap of any values .

and more conversations of people in my real life. and who treat me immature not sociable and ugly.

is because of this that I have no one person who is interested for me.

but this people have no affinity to my values, my person.

these same people who trivialize love. they have no love to give people real and sensitive like me.

people in real life, love for this people is a matter of selling themselves for be loved, make sacrifices to live up as a competition.

is real love................ ?

true love is about loving a person with his defects its imperfection and not have to be perfect to be loved.

I had men in my life. meet in agency dating not in net but real .

gave so much my love real but me received nothing. they wanted all the perfection of a woman. copy or their mother. and is because ice syborg any love this men .

No thank . not need more .

Each woman is unique and have a character as the men not slave for modern women.

man and women are equal

and perfection is not love is the superficiality

for all the reasons I find fake people in real life and they are the strange people they do not respect the human value and character of each person.
