Does anyone else find it weird that the only design that changed was the main page? Everything else still has the same background

They're probably either still figuring out where to go with it, or else changing everything in pieces. It would have taken a lot of work to put the old site together. It will take a lot of work to do a new version of it all... and they probably have something up their sleeve they're waiting for...

They can't have the whole theme planned out yet can they? They don't have all the songs written obviously. Maybe the invitation thing is just representing them inviting us to the new era.

I think it's supposed to be like the timeline was last time between albums- a neutral interim design.

I'm thinking they are probably going to sleep new album themes on the south bank show, and want to change the website to maybe announce the new album?

they won't open a new tour in latin america.... that's obvious.. we deserve to see the viva la vida tour as much as the people in the us/europe... it's not our fault they toured so much there

I'm thinking the new butterfly logo that resides in the design and all over their Twitter page is a symbol that they're not changing completely, but instead they're evolving what they have right now. Hence the change from a simple butterfly to a detailed, intricate one.

okay, so i checked the source of the page. I did this because sometimes theirs clues to things. after doing this, i found the email address (RSVP) in the source encoding. and after that there is "wedrsvp"

"wedright" and "wednews". WED meaning WEDDING? The page does seem like a wedding invitation.
