In honor of the near passing of the beloved Viva la Vida era, I think we should all put Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends on play and listen to the entire CD.

You guys remember the FIRST time you played the whole album? I put it in my car's CD player in the Target parking lot as I drove to work that morning, and was a bit confused at first by what I assumed was a long intro (and not a song without lyrics!), but after the first few lines of Cemeteries of London it was love at first... listen?

 

Of course I learned to love LiT too, it just threw me off that first time. ;)

I don't remember where I was, but I remember the first time listening to it. Since I was new to Coldplay, I only listened to Viva la Vida and Violet Hill, but as time progressed, I decided to listen to the entire CD.

 

...and it was fantastic.

I listened to it in the car as well! I made my parents rush me into JB Hi-Fi so I could get the album and rushed out as quickly as I could, armed with the keys to the car so I could listen to the album whilst my parents finished their shopping. :P

 

I was expecting words to come in LiT, and was immensely surprised when the song faded out. Cemetaries of London seemed kind of dull to me, as well. It was Lost! I first and foremost fell in love with... and after that it was just... magic!
