yes, there was an american remake which i haven't seen because the american remakes are always less scary :wacky:

I never saw all of the Grudge because the dvd my friends and I rented was messed up...

It was a dumb movie anyway. :tongue:

the japanese version is probably a lot better :P ... I haven't seen the one with sarah michelle gellar but... trust me :evil:
