Roll up, roll up, NaNoWriMo 2009 is on its way. 10 days to go for the earliest-starting countries. This is the week to finish planning plot and character and get into it if you're carefully pre-planning, this is the week to prepare if you're going to be writing as you go.

Yes, the Coldplayer/Nano list format is a little messy, but until there is BBCode for something like an invisible grid to line up the usernames next to each other, indents will have to do.

I have barely any time to write...I'll be submitting something for my school's lit. magazine, but I don't think I can do this. :(

I'm doing NaNoWriMo for the first time in my life. I have no idea if I will be able to reach the goal by the deadline! My novel is going to be pretty random.... :lol:

I don't know if I can find time to write. But I've joined ... AniSkywalker ;)

So, what are some plots we have come up with? I've had several ideas. But, I have come to just one. This is a short synopsis of my novel:

 

The world will soon come to an end. That is, if they don’t listen to a near 5 year old. Oh, did I mention she has been possessed by an inhuman entity? The fate of the Earth and its people are in this girl’s hands as the people listen to every command given by her possessor. For if they don’t listen, death will become inevitable………

 

^And that is what I pretty much have as my plot.... :dozey:

I am getting so excited I can hardly stand it, but I'm also terrified. ;)

 

This year I'm writing a near-future post-apocalyptic 'fantasy' of sorts based roughly on the Monomyth but with a crazy twist at the end. Working title is Deus Ex Machina, which, if you know what that means, gives away the ending, but that's okay! (really!)

 

It's largely experimental. I'm considering Nano 2009 to be a 'practice novel' of sorts but if it turns out okay I'm going to finish the illustrations for it (2 done already) and publish it to my website.
