Ari!!!! i love him, i saw him 2x last year, the one concert with Steve winwood at MSG and then at Jones beach, i have all his albums, i was totally obsessed with him for a long time. i read his autobiography like 4 times and then of course the patti book. i am so happy i have a friend here that likes him! i wanted to go to the big concert this week at MSG that he is playing at but the tix are sooo expensive, have to save up my gig money

Octoberfest is pretty big around here. any reason for a party with my whacko frineds, the kids are dressing up for halloweeen andi will go trick or treating with them, Lola the doggy will be a bumble bee!

octoberfest is not that big thing here (as far as i know).

i like his stuff from his Unplugged album (which is actually the only Clapton CD i own)...heh :D

 

my fave song of his is Tears From Heaven...cos i think it's a real touching song, esp when you know of the story behind him writing it.

 

other than that song, i like Wonderful Tonight & Layla a lot too. but maybe a bit more love for Wonderful Tonight.

eric clapton is one of the best guitarists of all time. he has such control and his tone (especially in his early days with cream) is so unique. I love him! Fav Song: Mainline Florida

When he picks up his Strat and rocks out a solo on Cocaine the man is badass and rockin.

 

Yet he's at his best during Layla Unplugged...there is no one cooler and smoother than Clapton w/ an acoustic guitar.
