Teenage Relationships

Featured Replies

I refuse to be in a relationship until I'm at least 16, although I've been asked out several times this year...:uhoh:

Dating and whatever when being so young just seems pointless to me. I'll at least wait until somewhere in High School. :shifty:

I do agree with this thread.

But I agree with it more when talking about like, 12 and 13 year olds.

You should see them now adays. Dating, saying they're "in love", talking about sex.

Sex. At 12! It's unbelievable.

Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but I believe every parent should give their 13 year old a big slap on the face.

No, I completely agree and I am 12 myself.

How ever, there really isn't anyone that bad in my grade (seventh, BTW) or really anywhere in the school. Sure, there are 2 or 3 dating, but a lot of us wish to wait on relationships until Highschool.

Our school is actually K-8, and there are only 150 middle school students, so maybe that's why it isn't that bad here?

Maybe. I went to elementary school (k-5), middle school (6-8) and high school was 9-12. It was all about who's dating who and who's not. :dozey: Got really annoying after a while.

Don't know if any of you saw this, but on Oprah this past summer, there were these two 13 year olds (at least I think they were 13, can't remember), and they were talking about how they were "ready to have sex".

Kids are trying to so mature these days, which is taking them back in maturity.

Oprah told them off, which was fantastic. :P

Don't worry, just be careful when you get to high school.
