What an amazing birthday present! I've always loved the video you made of the concert here in LA - I was at the same one, but a little further back than you were ;) Your video brings back great memories for me, too. I bet your brother was just thrilled that you got to meet Jonny and Chris. I've also read some of your blog - your journey and faith are inspiring, and I wish you all the best during your time in London and when you get back home.

My sister was like "Hey look its Chris Martin wearing a Teefury shirt!". :P

I then started telling her about this thread and she gave me a "you're obsessed" look.

i was very excited when i found out that his shirt is from Teefury, because i bought a shirt from that site not too long ago. it was the Nerdfighter shirt, though, not the Back to the Future one. :P

And I just have to say, he is more lovely up close.

And also, his hair looked a lot darker to me, but maybe it's because it's short.

Anyway what i didn't mention in my blog was that he also asked me what my plans were for my birthday, and I just smiled and said " well I think this is good enough" and then he smiled.

And when I was telling him about the kind of community work we've been doing here he seemed really pleased and then he said, "So you're missionaries?"

And I was so close to being super cheesy and saying "missionaries in a foreign field"

but i caught myself before looking a fool and just said, "yeah!... Missionaries!"

haha.

anyway,

He was the sweetest.

a man was even walking past when we were taking pictures and Chris said " Oh, let's move out of the way for this person"

and we just waited for him to pass.

haha.

That would have been hilarious if you said that to him. I'm sure he would have laughed. I'm still so freakin' happy for you. He seems so sweet, along with the rest of them. I hope your experience was everything you imagined and more.
