But hey do you think its the ads under the first post? That makes mine slow-up sometimes and this is a good connection and decent computer.

No, it's definitely the gif signatures and avatars that are causing it, because my computer only freezes up when I go to a page that has that.

It's not slowing down mine either, haha.

Besides posting one GIF is the same as posting 20, as soon as its loaded the GIF itself it only needs to do it once so the rest load just like pictures.

20 different gifs however...

Thalia's does that to mine. I know when she has a post on the last page of a thread as soon as I go into it because my comp. immediately starts to freeze up :lol:

But none of the others seem to do that.

You can go to your user cp on the top and then go to edit options: and uncheck the show avatar, show signatures then save changes and it won't show up anymore :wink:

The browser I use doesn't let me block images.
