...Coldplay? :wtf:

Rock Ballad. That's what I think, it is not necessary that I should be correct though.

On the other hand, they don't want to be labelled in one specific genre obviously. As we all know their albums range into diverse kinds of sounds.

That's why perhaps we become inquisitive on what could be their music's concluding genre. But since you guys don't give a fuck, let's just all listen to the infamous The Nappies and judge what kind of genre it has instead.

I think the term "alternative rock" is most appropriate, but I think one of the reasons I like them so much is because of their distinctive "sophisticated pop" element.:D

Eh, they've dabbled in all three, and really it doesn't matter. It's a good thing if they cannot fit into just one genre...

Coldplay's music genre is.... awesome :awesome:

THIS! :awesome:

yea alternative means u can experiment a lot of tunes but still with a rock sound..so viva is alternative only though vlv track sounds poppy it still has its rock roots

yea more alternative rock like radiohead, oasis, killers

rock make me think of led zepp, ac/dc and audioslave

pop is all that Lady gaga rubbish

Why would you want to pigeonhole them? That's not a criticism, i just wonder why people seem to feel to do it :\

No Indie for sure...

I'd say Alternative/Rock
