Life.. busy. I have been studying and exercising, and.. yeah I watched 2 seasons of Dexter, so it was.. tolerable. Of course I hate it cos I couldn't rest.. but bleh..

Um.. no, I'm not celebrating :/ I'm not into that stuff..

You?

I still have to catch up with my schoolwork and I haven't started and it's all due on Monday because that is when school starts.

And I'm celebrating Easter, though whole going to church and eating chocolate and having supper razzledazzle. It should be okay.

You little lazy ass :P Go do your stuff now before it's too late!

Church.. ahh.. My faith is pretty much gone.

Not that I was a great dedicated catholic, but at least I had "faith" ._.

I'll do it eventually I think. :P

:(

So what's left for you?

I hate it, reading an EKG is a fucking pain in the ass..

Radiohead siggy

I'm in rainbows right now, fucking mood swings and everything :awesome:

Well, anatomy, physiology, histology, and lots of semiology :cheesy:

Btw I just saw we'll have a class about EKG hehe

What's left for you?

I'm not really into radiohead *hides*

I have a stupid question Alexa. If someone is given too much blood thinners and they die, that's called "bleeding out", right?

I thought bleeding out referred to slaughter of animals in abbatoirs where the neck is slashed?

Well, none of us is a native english speaker, but... I'm not sure you can actually bleed out after taking blood thinners in the sense Ian said, unless you cut yourself quite badly

Let's wait for Alexa's answer :nice:

The person was given too much blood thinners and I guess it caused blood to flow into the cranial canal? That caused pressure on the brain and then a coma, and he eventually died. For some reason I thought that was the term, he "bleed out", not physically out, but his blood became so thin that is seeped into his cranial canal putting pressure on the brain.

Let's wait for Alexa's answer

She's been gone for a while. She must think med school is more important than us....ridiculous!

Totally is!

That's not like I've been away from the forum for a week because of it

Let our girl work Nick^^

I got rid off histology in 1st semester :awesome: and ask me what the fuck I know about it.. absolutely nothing :P

Everything, anat, physio, biochem, prev. medicine, genetics.. but just one month to go!

I had a test about EKG today, again, fucking exhausting and annoying, was your class good?

I agree with her...

...but after reading that, a thought crossed my mind. When blood is under the effects of anticoagulant drugs, edema/bruises could be a result of it, so, if the blood went to the brain, and spent a long period under the effects of anticoagulant, then edema/bruise could've happened in there, eventually cracking and causing an internal bleeding, increasing the intra cranial pressure. Also depends the level of bleeding and the kind, subdural, etc...

Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

And tbh, I'm getting sick of medschool right now.. I've been working like crazy..

Totally is!

You totally understand the shit :P

But it pays off in the end.

BTW, guys, why did you wait for my answer:P? Perrine has been longer in this than I have, I'm a beginner

Hey don't say crap, I've started med school like just one year before you! Plus I'm pretty sure you know at least as much as me since the first year is just made for selection and almost everything I learnt last year was pretty useless...

So yeah, I've forgotten about so many things too!

What, one month and you're on summer break :stunned:

Oh I haven't had the class about EKG yet, I'll tell you about that^^

About work, good luck, I've been there one week ago, and now I'm doing absolutely nothing :D

I'm watching Knowing again, kinda. My sister is watching it.

I loved this movie until the end, it ruined it.

Hello. :nice:

I don't really watch movies, so it's surprising when I've actually seen one somebody is talking about.

How are you? :wacky:

Happens to me :nice:

I'm.. tired, I've been having trouble sleeping for.. a month. And I have to study biochem today, and to add more to my shit, I have a headache :nice:

You?

I'm a bit angry about all the stupid things that are happening on here.

Other than that, I'm a bit bored. ANd I'm waiting for my computer to stop updating so it will work well again. :P

It amused me, a little, but also bored me to death...

Be patient, I should leave now.. cos if I wait longer either I fall asleep or lose more valuable time, I've got to pass this test..

Please take care? :nice:

Love you.
