So I'm having a big fat biochemistry test on Monday, proteins and shit like that, I'm dying. I also have an anatomy test but that's easy for me, and physiology, but that one is hard :P I feel so tense now.. but I think I'll manage to get it done.

Haha and lolz, I'm going to a partaaaay on Friday night, I need a moment..

 

I just looked at the subjects I'm having in 3rd semester (you know, hypothetically thinking I'll pass) and it's gonna be like this:

 

Immunology

Anesthesiology

Microbiology

Biochemistry (Clinic)

Public health

Surgical techniques

And the most infamous subject of all the fucking career (cos well.. IT IS, and tons of med students, even smart ones claim that it is infamous).. :

Pharmacology!

 

It's going to get haaaaaarder and harder.. but I'm willing to do my best. Makes me feel a bit excited, my ex even told me that 3rd semester is wonderful in it's own way, cos it's so heavy but you learn lots and you leave behind the basics (anatomy and that shit) so yeah, I'll be ready.

 

Gosh the ending was so so good and so tragic.

The look on Dexter's face was priceless. Finally some genuine expression of emotion, though he looked so confused at first, like he didn't know how to feel.

At the beginning I thought that Trinity is just another serial killer.

But then I found out that the ending is so ironic. It's poetic in the most horrible way.

Gaaaahhhh!

I keep playing it over and over again. Now I can't wait for September to come!

 

 

Indeed, it was fucking poetic. Little Harrison sitting and blood on the floor, just like little damaged Dexter when his mom was murdered.

I'm dying to see how that will change Dexter, and it kills me to think that Deb might find out in season 5 about his real self.

 

I give all you science related majors a lot of credit for what you learn. One of my friends showed me the kind of stuff they've learned and it seems it can be really confusing

You know, the other day I was thinking about that.

People usually ignore what med students go through and what we sacrifice to be what we want to be :/

Not that we should be praised or anything, but sometimes a little credit or just understanding helps, cos we don't even have weekends/real vacation like the rest -_-

I couldn't make it to the party. I got a nasty allergic reaction and a fucking asthma attack during physiology yesterday. The doctor immediately sent me to the nurse station and they sent me home after I took some meds, but I struggled all day with it.

 

Pneumology seems interesting :nice: but after reading respiratory system in physiology I thought it's kinda hard :/ I dunno..

But yes it's hard, especially the characteristics of the different diseases, the sounds you can hear (imo totally useless when you don't hear them and just read their characteristics on paper...)

Today was my last day of classes.. I can almost smell 3rd semester. My last final test is the 20th, and guess which one it is.. BIOCHEM :D huhu, I had a test today about proteins and shit, I'll pass <3

I'm not presenting anatomy and genetics finals, my grades are 98 and 95 respectively.

 

I get the feeling, I had to take 4 hrs of physiology everyday .

I sucked at hearing the sounds once :P doctor even showed me the right way to hold the stethoscope and I still couldn't hear a thing.. I need practice.
