Do smileys accurately portray what theyre supposed to?

Featured Replies

:wtf: <--- I like this one... it's pretty accurate.

Why thank you :awesome:

:shifty: does not only portray of being devious,

it can also portray other things

I never really see that one as devious or shifty, like it's named. I always use it to portray feeling grumpy suspicious that something happened, with a splash of suspicion.

Pseudonyms Sue seems to know everything!:P:scholar:
I think you're only the second person getting the pseudonym = SueDeNimes thing since I joined!! :)

Coldplaying has the best expressive smileys I've ever seen

I always thought that :awesome: has a certain sense of lunacy to it.

:laugh3: Wait! Not the eye rolling one! I meant this one: :dozey:

When someone puts that smiley at the end of a sentence aimed at me and with the intention to humiliate, then it's offensive. Heee.

I hate it when people end their sentences with ":wink2:"

shame on me :disappointed:

I love :wacky: and :freak:, because the show exactly how I feel...most of the time:wacky:

This is probably the most unrealistic. I mean, the guy on the left is having a nice peaceful nap, while standing up (So he must be really tired) and the other one comes over, wakes him up, and then they rub up against eachother? I'd be pissed off if someone woke me up for a hug.

I hug people all the time...even at the most random times. :wacky: Next time your offline I'll be sure to send you a hug :lips:

I never saw the one on the left as sleeping, I always thought he was upset or something and then the other one hugged him to cheer him up. :freak:

lol

This one: :) is sometimes used so the person it's aimed to looks... um... retarded, sometimes just to make a post more "friendly and nice". I'd just post :) instead.

I see the awesome one (:awesome:) different than the bigger version of it. The normal (bigger) one does look like an awesome face and it looks like a face from real life. The one we have on here looks crazier.

The ones which are used more often do pretty much accurately portray what they're supposed to.

It seems like it should be used sarcastically with capital letters, bad spelling and many exclamation marks and ones.
