Maru22
I think Fix You is a "must" for the live concert... In fact, when I saw it live it was probably one of the highlights of the show, definitely. I believe it's a more powerful song to hear played live than Speed of Sound, so I wouldn't trade them... I like Speed of Sound but I didn't miss it throughout the show, I think they put in enough songs of the same "style"... I do wish they included one or two more songs from Parachutes though, in the concert I went to they only played Yellow from the first album. I would have loved just one more from it, maybe during the acoustic set or something. That would have been great. Still I think they did a good job with the set list, I bet it's hard to get a good solid set list, and this one did a good job at really capturing the spirit of Viva la Vida. mrman78
My first VLV tour concert in Houston in 2008 had SOS in it. All the subsequent ones didn't. I missed it, I love that song. In Dallas last year, people were screaming for it in the PIT... Oh well
NumbersGirl
I don't know why but I think SoS is kind of blah. But I think sometime they should try and do an alternate version live, kind of like they did with Talk and GPASUYF.

Yeah totally, I was really hoping we got A Message but we got Shiver. I prefer AM a thousand times but it's ok :) good to listen to shiver
Arantza
I prefer a thousand times Shiver over A Message :P But yeah, I was expecting A Message 2010 in the Latin American tour too.
Destrokk
Not like they could play every Coldplay song ever made in one concert. That would be kind of cool though.

That would be kind of cool though. Yeah, that would be about 100 songs or something like that, with all the b-sides included? That would be a nice 5-6 hour concert. Methinks they would be tired after that.
gojulas895
The VLV tour's setlist has just had a lot of sad sacrifices in my opinion. Square One, Speed of Sound, Yes, and Chinese Sleep Chant come to mind. The only good thing that came out of it, at least for me, was Cemeteries of London. Any day of the week I would trade Yellow for Shiver, Politik for Warning Sign, Fix You for Square One, and Glass of Water for Yes. Perhaps the next tour they will reevaluate the formula. Unfortunately I get a feeling they find themselves feeling "locked in" to playing singles/popular songs. Which means Yellow, Clocks, In My Place, Fix You, Viva La Vida are fixtures. More likely than not, Lovers in Japan, and Lost seem like they would be carried over. I won't even say they should play more classics. I would just love to see them strike out some regulars for other stuff. High Speed, Daylight, Amsterdam, Square One, White Shadows, A Message, Talk (hell I don't even like Talk), Rainy Day, etc.
Koala
I listened to SoS in my first concert and in the second thay played glass of water instead. what i didn't like is that they played nearly the same concert in two different years!! (U2 changed it more in two days) and that reallly annoyed me! The differences were that they played the scientis (GREAT LIVE SONG AND I REALLY CRIED), glass of water, LITII, green eyes and billy jean. the rest was the same I don't like they play nearly all the VLV CD in the concert! there are much more better songs and why the hell they only play Yellow of Parachutes. What about trouble or Don't Panic??! I want Amsterdam or AROBTTH, SITS.... but yeah the concert would be about 5 hours long....
Li_cold
Well, I must confess I'd give a leg to hear songs like Don't panic, Amsterdam, Warning sign, Evrything's not lost, Green eyes and many more live. On the other hand, I believe it's something almost impossible. They've already said that they're never gonna stop playing yellow or in my place, so I guess it's the same with the other classics, such as Clocks, fix you, vlv... And I did miss them playing Speed of sound. It was amazing live and it is an incredible song. I really wish they could do more changes on the repertoire, they have so much to offer! :disappointed: But, of course, I can't say that that spoiled the concerts I've been... :)
