Jonny was on a kid's game show back in the 80's and they asked him how to spell his name, he proceeded to say, "J-O-N-N-Y, oh wait, I forgot the H." The host just ignored him and continued with the show. Jonny eventually won and the prize was a nameplate. The name written on the nameplate was "Jonny Buckland." He was going to tell them about the "H" a few days later, but there was a studio fire and everyone died, so he decided to honor them by changing the spelling of his name from "Johnny" to "Jonny". People would give him looks of shock and horror when he was out in public, prior to his surgeries. Most recently, he's had a nipple reduction and electrolosis to get rid of his unibrow.
