I lost my boyfriend to WoW

Featured Replies

It's so pathetic that i can't compete with a game. I knew it was a bad idea when he started to play (a few months ago) but i never seriously thought it would go this far = him playing several hours a day, not having time to see me. And if i go see him he'll spend time with me for a few hours tops and then go play, like wtf?

I just might bring out the big guns

1. I refuse to see him when he wants to see me (usually late at night because his daily routines are so fucked up)

2. Refuse to have sex

3. Refuse to go over his place

4. Delete that pointless game

5. Send an angry letter to the people who invented it (i'm sure they've got tons of letters like that already hahaha "You bastards! I don't have a partner anymore!!")

So, any other WoW widowers out there?

I'm kind of already doing it. I wonder if he even notices

Ahaha, i'd love to be a REALLY annoying person and do this:

Get all steamy with him and when he's ready to go for it and starts to go further i'll go like "ow, sorry, i forgot that you prefer wow over me. Well, no need to worry, I'm sure the game is better at giving you satisfaction than i am "

2. Won't work because of internet porn and/or prostitutes.

It'd be even worse if he preferred internet porn over me :blank:

That'd be so good.... sweet revenge.

Make him jealous, cheat on him with WOW.

I've been saying that for a while now.. But he just says "ow, i have nothing to worry about, your pc is too slow for that game, dear :nice:"

and THAT is something that pisses me off. So now i've been playing lots of old sega games with a friend of mine and i've been telling him all about it. ( i even installed sims on my pc and now i'm trying to get addicted to it just to make him jealous)

Yikes  That sucks big time. Option 2 would work I guess, but have you really tried talking to him about it?

It has only gotten worse during these last 2 weeks and i've actually been so busy with my own stuff (work, studying, hobbies, dog) that i haven't even got much time to think about seeing him either so i don't completely blame him for it.

uhm, i just don't want to be a girlfriend who goes "if you don't stop playing i'll leave you!" and to be honest i'd be shocked if i had to go that far with this.

But yeah, it's true that we need to have a serious discussion about our situation. I'll just wait and see when he has enough time to do that, doh :mark:

oh sorry, i mean

We could make him jealous?(I am in the massive penis group)

That's not such a bad idea at all. I mean, i could always just go check coldplaying out on his laptop and "randomly" leave a thread on the top about massive penises et cetera.

Mwaha, that would be funny. :nice:

I lost my step brother to WoW, he barely ever talks to anyone in the family anymore.

Sorry to hear about what happened with your bf, I say you should do all of the things you listed. Or even better! You could go find the makers of the game and kill them

Once he gets to the highest level or whatever maybe he'll stop? :uhoh:

That's what happened when my brother liked it.:P

^Haha. eBay - the solution for everything.

Edit: Aw, the banner just changed. I had only seen the one before the simpsons one tonight for the first time, but that's my fault.

I wouldn't date anybody who likes WoW in the first place. Thats actually the number one rule in my books.

My brother used to be addicted to WoW a few years ago. And then he became addicted to Halo and played it all day long for about two years straight, but I haven't seen him playing it lately.

Yeah especially at his age as well. 14 year olds, fair enough

2 freaking years?! Christ, suddenly my life seems so much more fruitful.

I spent a month playing Guitar Hero about 10-15 hours a day, but as soon as I passed it I never played again (Unless it was someone elses)

Sorry but this topic is kinda funny.
