Have had my eye on them for over a year now. Album drops soon. I listened to a promo copy and was blown away.

 

This is going to be my album of 2010. They combine the best components of british music at the moment, like a blend of little comets, bloc party and friendly fires, and at a great upbeat tempo.

I have Cigarettes In The Theatre. It sounds promising. :nice:

Had this since around the end of January. 7/10 album. Most of the songs are excellent, but there are pacing problems, and Do You Want It All? has been ruined IMO. Also, the band are hopping off their influences, rather than trying to create their own sound. Bit disappointed by it really.

Pacing problems? I think I know what u mean, track order could be better.

 

I agree with Do You Want It All.... I have gone from liking it to skipping it now, there's just so many other good tracks.

 

Still, I love this album.

I've been trying to remember the name of this band for weeks,

I heard I Can Talk on the radio and it was bugging me for ages :laugh4:

And now hearing it for the second time, i quite like it :D

I love their upbeat sound :nice:

I say i'll be downloading the album.

I gave the album 9/10.. its my fave of 2010 so far.

I'm really liking this band. The album's great. I love Something Good Can Work and I Can Talk :nice:

Bought the album last week and love it so far. A really good debut if you ask me. I think we'll hear a lot more from this band in the coming years. Or at least I hope so. :cheesy:

I'm seeing them on a sort of "secret concert" this friday !! I won tickets for this :D ! God I can't wait ! I already saw them when they were opening for Phoenix (23-03-2010) and they were fucking awesome !

I think I can't choose a favourite song but I'd my least favourite is "Cigarettes in the theatre" (even though I love it lol) !

I've haven't been able to stop listening to these guys ever since I first heard their promo a couple of months ago. Definitely one of my favourites of the year so far!

at the moment the album is about a 7.5 to an 8 for me. its alot of fun to listen to but not the most memorable record.

That was what I thought when I had only heard 'I Can Talk'. The whole album makes the summer soundtrack complete. :nice:

I just wanted to share the only decent video of my concert I have. It's "Come back home". The quality is still pretty crappy !

Anyway, the whole concert was just sick ! :awesome: My expectations were high and I wasn't disappointed at all! They sound amazing live. I just wish they had more songs because it went soooo fast. The audience was going crazy (as you can see in the vid', and still it was nothing compared to songs like I can talk, Something Good Can Work or Undercover Martyn)!
