Of course not! MOAR!

^Moar is more appropriate, yes.

*sigh*

This 4chan language is annoying.

I'm not sure which is more amusing: That so many of the Prospekt entries were written on Fridays, or how hard it is to find a useable capital letter "F".

Finished cleaning up the capital letters, if anyone's interested:

Appreciate feedback- I've been looking at those for too long to notice anything majorly wrong.

Fail was originally a 4chan "language thing", STFU NUBLET

Also, font is much more better than mine, but for optimal results, you need to clean it up in a bigger size so it won't look all pixellated and crappy like mine.

Here's a 6000px wide .png without background, I vectorised the letters before.

I have no idea what format the images have to be in to create a font... hope this helps.

look at that

but I don't really know if this is just for handwriting-

btw it's soooooo expensive

I have them saved much, much larger as individual layers in a photoshop file. I found a font program that works quite well at converting a sufficiently large .jpg into a vector (fonts are saved as vectors so you can use them at different sizes).

My big issue is that to blow the letters up big and make them look good I had to use a fair amount of artistic license and when you look at something a few pixels at a time, you loose all perspective on the effect as a whole. I guess my questions are are there any messy bits I missed? Did I pick the right examples of the letters? Do they work together as a whole? Would you easily recognize the more stylized ones as the letter in a block of text?

Actually, on a second look those ought to be really useful. Thanks :nice:

I've got no complaints, looks alright to me

Yep, looks good to me too.

^Yay! :nice:

I've finished cleaning up the lowercase letters. Same deal:

Next up punctuation and numbers. Then comes the hard part...

Thanks, that looks awesome! :awesome:

Want me to make a bigger version without background again or do you not need it?

I was going to make one myself in illustrator, but hey, if you can do one in under an hour go for it- you'll save oodles of time and the first one you did turned out so well. :nice:

It only takes a few minutes with inkscape and GIMP so here it is:

If I can help you any more with this project just tell me!

Wow SueDeNimes, that is absolutely amazing! It's basically identical to Prospekt's writing (or is it Prospekt's writing, copied off their website? If it is, how the heck did you manage that!) Well done :D I'm going to print copies of it out and use them for random stuff - like writing 'Coldplay is life' all across my room :laugh3:

so where are we on this??
I'm working on numbers and punctuation and then it's a matter of finding a good free program that will actually allow me to save as a font. (The last one didn't as I found out after a few hours. :dozey:) Between illness and school I haven't had time to get much done in a bit, but march break is next week. :D

I traced and modified Prospekt's writing so that it would work as a proper computer font. She made it bigger. Glad you like.

Awesome news that you're still on it.

I'm sorry to hear you've been ill though.

Hope you're fine now.

And if I can help... you know the rest! :)
