Putting milk in before cereal also creates a chemical reaction with the bowl chemicals that causes mercury poisoning in those under the age of 9, whereas if cereal is added first, the enzymes in the natural cellulose negate the effects of the bowl chemicals before the milk comes in contact with them. :nice:
