Disney Channel got nothing to her, she's an independent artist. She writes her songs and produces them, she's in Wind Up Records (among other things Evanescence's label) and I think she just can't be compared to Disney Cahnnel stralets. She's way better than them.

She's finishing filming last episodes of HM (thank God, i thought this show was neverending) and that's only one thing that she's doing with Disney. But when we talk about her music, she was never ascociated with Disney. So I think you don't have reasons to be scared of her and you can listen to her her songs. :)

Ok I just listened to her song and I didn't like it, I might have liked it when I was in 8th grade and used to have a crush on the cutest guy from my school or something. And I actually I think is really dumb of you to get mad because whenever you say something or whatever about her everyone relates her to HM since if I hadn't read your post I still would be like "Emily who?", what else are you gonna relate her to if it isn't HM?

Well I watched about a minute then shut it off. Partly because I can't stand anyone doing Radiohead covers, partly because it just wasn't good. The chorus sounded just strange.

 

Stick to the pop and leave Radiohead to..well...Radiohead.
